Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a WLAN Developer at Aprecomm in Bengaluru. The WLAN Developer will be responsible for developing and optimizing WiFi networks, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance. Tasks include designing, implementing, and troubleshooting WLAN solutions to meet performance requirements and security standards.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of wireless LAN technologies, including IEEE 802.11 standards, WLAN security protocols, and WLAN authentication protocols.
- Experience in conducting Site Surveys, designing, configuring and troubleshooting complex wireless solutions.
- Experience with WLAN equipment, vendors, and technologies such as Juniper, Meraki, Aruba, Cisco, and Ruckus wireless equipment.
- Experience in Linux device drivers, debugging bootloaders and kernel.
- Demonstrated expertise in networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, QoS, IPSec, VPNs, and NAT.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders, customers, and vendors.
- 5+ years of experience in wireless LAN development, implementation, and support.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, or a related field.
