Responsibility:
- Develop quality standards and test procedures
- Execute & monitor test cases to identify defects and ensure products meet specified requirements.
- Documentation related to testing processes, strategies, and results
- Reporting testing progress, challenges, and results to relevant stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- Should have 5 to 10+ years of hands-on experience in testing connectivity software (both on device firmware and cloud infrastructure) and network protocols
- Experience in CI/CT (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/..), release, and change management tools i.e. GIT or similar GitLab.
- Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP, HTTP, UDP) and networking equipment.
- Good understanding (on-hands & theoretical) on connectivity technologies – WiFi (knowledge of IEEE 802.11 standards is a must), L2-L7 network layers,
- Hands on knowledge on network tools such as – Packet generators (Ex: iPerf), Packet Sniffers, AP/ Client simulators, RF Chambers, Interference Generators
- Knowledge of programming languages C and Linux Shell Scripting required.
- Good understanding of Linux Environment is required.
- Optional: CCIE Enterprise Wireless Certification.
